Residents living in the Ecker Ridge agrihood will have the option, not the requirement, to participate in an organic farm along with other amenities associated with the farm. This option requires a small yearly fee for all amenities and can be on a “preferred use" basis. The farm has the following amenities available for all residents:

Includes a multitude of apple trees along with other “orchard” type growing such as pumpkin patches, etc.
Orchards
Natural green spaces and woodland areas are promoted on agrihood land for activities such as syrup collection, etc. Also located on the agrihood is a lake for the use of fishing or other permitted activities.

High Cliff State Park borders the development’s southwest corner, offering wooded hiking trails, picnic areas, and scenic views of Lake Winnebago. Sherwood's Legion Park along the eastern side provides additional green space for outdoor activities and gatherings, especially for young families. Additionally, Lake Winnebago offers opportunities for boating, kayaking, and fishing, with boat launches and a marina at High Cliff making it easy to get out on the water. Finally, the Fox Cities are a short drive away for shopping, dining, and entertainment, from the local restaurants and shops in downtown Appleton to the Fox River Mall.
